Kathleen Godfrey, President

For over 25 years, my company has stood for integrity, transparency, and honesty in all we do. As fiduciaries, we are legally required to put your interests first, even when it’s not profitable for us to do so.

Godfrey Financial is deeply committed to the Capital Region: in 2000 I instituted a corporate policy to give back to our community. Each year, we donate at least 10 percent of our net profits to local nonprofit organizations.

Ruth Johnson, CRPC

Ruth is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. 

Her passion is helping individuals and families increase their financial confidence by creating realistic and detailed financial plans. She is deeply committed to her clients’ financial wellbeing, and has a unique ability to listen intently to needs and concerns in order to navigate a complex financial world. 

In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing with her dogs and spending time with family and friends at the family farm in Orange County, New York.

Tenicia “T.” Trask-Yeager, Administrative Manager

T. is the first friendly voice you’ll hear when you call our office. She is responsible for administrative tasks, initial customer interactions, and other service requests necessary for keeping the office running as smoothly as it does. She received her B.A. from Skidmore College.

Outside the office, T. enjoys spending time with her family, and engaging in fitness activities.

Benny Godfrey, Welcome Committee

Benny is the resident welcome committee. His office is separated away from the normal office during client hours but he is available for a meeting upon request.

Benny has experience in being a good boy, receiving numerous treats, and napping. He can not wait to meet you!
